Sealed Pack & Brand New?
Yep! At Rooter, all our devices are 100% brand new, factory-sealed, and come with the original packaging and all standard accessories. We don’t sell anything used, refurbished, or opened—unless we clearly specify.
Warranty Period?
Apple Devices: come with a one year Apple Care warranty from Apple that covers hardware issues and manufacturing defects.
Apple Accessories: like chargers, cables, and audio gear come with a six-month limited warranty.
Other Accessories: come with a six-month warranty, except for a few items that are sold with checking warranty only.
Certain Accessories: are sold with checking warranty only—no extended coverage.
Warranty claim process
The warranty starts from the date of purchase, and you'll need the original invoice to make a claim. It doesn’t cover physical or liquid damage, power surges, improper charging, software rooting, or any unauthorized tampering.
For international warranties, coverage ends 14 days before the local warranty expires. Claims under international warranty can take around 3 to 9 weeks to process due to the current situation. If the product is covered by a local agent or distributor, you'll need to visit their designated service centre to make a claim.
At the point of purchase, if your device isn’t working, we’ll replace it right away. However, during the warranty claim period, we don’t provide replacement devices. But don’t worry, we’ll take care of repairing or servicing your device as quickly as possible!
Shipping & Delivery process?
We deliver islandwide across Sri Lanka through Prompt Xpress courier service. Delivery usually takes 1–2 working days. Please note there’s no courier service on weekends or Poya days. Rooter guarantees that we’ll make every effort to deliver your package safely by the latest estimated delivery date.
Shipping rates range from Rs. 500 to Rs. 1,500 depending on the delivery location, and will be calculated at checkout
Out of Stock - Pre Order?
Yes! You can reserve a product by making a partial advance payment. This is especially helpful for items that are in high demand or have limited stock. Please contact us for full reservation terms and payment instructions. Hotline: 071 400 6600.
Instalments with credit cards?
We offer instalment plans for selected bank credit cards. You can use them for both in-store and online purchases.
We offer 6-month zero-interest plans for HNB, Seylan, and Sampath credit cards (handling and card fees apply).
For HSBC credit cards, you can use the ‘Call & Convert’ option to get 12 months zero interest (also with handling and card charges).”
